Because space is a contemporary luxury
Once upon a time there was a residence that has seen the twists and turns of history. This junior suite was once a private chapel, then a large reception area for this aristocratic residence. Today, the old and the new combine to offer you a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing stay. High ceilings, a four-poster bed and soft fabrics combine to create a simply sparkling living environment.
In this former private bishop's chapel, verticality is fully expressed. The idea of ascending to 'the heavens' suggested by the high ceilings is underlined by the contemporary lines of the teak four-poster bed and exaggerated by the long black and white stripes of the stretched canvas covering the walls.
The purple of the bishop's chasuble evokes the religious past of the room through accents on a velvet upholstered armchair, shimmering curtains or even subtly through the braid on a lampshade. The black furniture adds depth to the room, while the choice of a chaise longue is a call to meditation.
