What struck me beforehand was « attention to detail »
We are happy to celebrate New Year's Eve in France and with the chaos in Paris we have moved to Chartres. Our eye soon fell on this B&B. Hostess Valerie has made three beautiful apartments in a historic building (built in the 14th century!). All with a small kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet and a walk in closet. For the first morning there is a breakfast box with all delicious things. Chartres has plenty of bakers and great supermarkets for the other mornings. What struck me beforehand was "attention to detail". Tasty varieties of tea, a Nespresso machine, fresh fruit, a wonderfully large bed, nice towels and plenty of space. What also stood out was attention and more attention. We asked Valerie for tips for New Year's Eve. She gave them promptly. It was striking that a few days later she asked if it had all worked out! What was also particularly pleasant was parking in the courtyard, super arranged! If you want something different than a standard hotel room, book me Maison Ailleurs for your stay!
